Terms of Service

Local Yap researches publicly available local information for your market and turns selected opportunities into complete short-form video packages: hook, script, filming direction, on-screen text and caption. Local Yap is a creative tool — you are responsible for reviewing anything you publish, and for complying with your brokerage's rules, MLS rules, fair housing law and advertising regulations.

You must provide an accurate email address, verify it, and keep your password confidential. One account per person; accounts are for your own use and may not be shared or resold.

Local Yap is paid only. There is no free plan and no free trial. Plans are monthly subscriptions: Starter $9.99, Consistent $14.99, Growth $24.99 and Daily $34.99 per month in US dollars, plus any applicable tax.

Your plan sets how many complete Video Builds you can create each week. Weekly allowances reset every Monday and do not roll over. Your opportunity feed refreshes regardless of how many builds you use.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. If a payment fails, we will show a recovery notice and Stripe will retry; if it ultimately fails, paid features stop until payment succeeds.

You can change your posting pace or cancel at any time from Account & settings, which uses Stripe's secure billing portal. Changes and any proration are calculated by Stripe. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

The scripts, captions and packages generated for you are yours to publish and adapt. You grant us permission to store and process them to operate the service. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage information to improve Local Yap's quality.

Don't misuse the service: no scraping or reselling Local Yap output as a competing research product, no attempts to bypass subscription limits or access other accounts, and no unlawful, discriminatory or deceptive content.

Local Yap cites sources and checks claims, but local information changes and AI can be wrong. The service is provided "as is" without warranties. Verify facts before publishing.

To the extent permitted by law, Local Yap's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost business or lost listings.

We may suspend or end an account that violates these terms or is used fraudulently. You may stop using Local Yap at any time by cancelling and, if you wish, deleting your account.

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and active subscribers will be notified by email of material changes. Continued use means acceptance.
